Retirement: Golfing is Good for You!

One of the best ways to avoid boredom and depression in retirement is to participate in several hobbies. If golf is one of your hobbies now, then plan to kick it up a notch in retirement. Research has shown that seniors who participant in at least some group activities are less prone to depression, health problems and live longer lives. So, in addition to playing solo rounds - join a golf league and go to golf clinics or golf tournaments with a friend.
Senior Golf Leagues
The American Seniors Golf Association is dedicated to providing its members with a Championship golf event schedule augmented with a variety of social functions. By securing world-class sites in desirable locations, the ASGA attracts competitive amateur golfers ages 55 and over from all over the United States.
