Retirement People

Retire On Track LLC.

On an episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah had financial guru, Ric Edelman, as her guest.  Edelman discussed how ordinary people on ordinary incomes managed to save and invest to secure a comfortable retirement.  The tips during the show were provided by his book, Ordinary People, Extraordinary Wealth.

The show included a woman who never earned over $18,000 a year, who was able to accumulate a $400,000 portfolio.  Another couple was able to amass a $1.2 million portfolio on a working-class salary. The wife was a stay-at-home mom with their five children.  This couple also managed to put all five children through college, while saving. So what do these people know that you don't?

First, they only buy things they need, not want. Even little things can really add up, like not going to the movies or buying videos - instead they rent them from the library. Second, they know how to stretch a dollar to its limits. Coupons, store brands and sales items are the norm.  Third, they put these savings to work by investing them regularly and in most cases aggressively (i.e. mostly in stocks verses bonds).

Only you can stop yourself from buying need items.  But, fortunately, the Financial Tips & Hints provides money savings tips and education on how to invest these savings properly.  Each issue is packed with valuable information specifically written for the needs of today's retirees.   As an added bonus, Bob's Retirement Calculator is included at no extra charge.  In addition to this savings, the information provided in the newsletter is invaluable and is absolutely 100% FREE for everyone.

Also, one of the guests suggested starting an investment club. An investment club is where a group of people meet regularly to pool their money together to make investments. The granddaddy of investment club information is BetterInvesting (formally the Nation Association of Investors Corporation - NAIC).  BetterInvesting has been helping investment clubs and individual investors invest for over a half a century. The benefits of belonging to a club are group learning, reduced investment commissions, camaraderie, and often outperforming the major indexes. One of the most famous investment clubs is the Beardstown Ladies? Investment Club.  The Beardstown Ladies have written several books on investment clubs.

So, if you want to be like these ordinary people who have secured a comfortable retirement, then there is no time like the present to get started. No large inheritance or high-paying job is needed to be successful - between the Financial Tipss and Hints newsletter and Bob's Retirement Calculator you should have all the tools you need to have an extraordinary retirement.  Take the first step toward the retirement of your dreams today, Click Here to get started.
